Quick-start guide

Right-click: Add lenses, sources, or masks (depending on the context-- see below)
Click and drag center of objects: move
Click and drag border of objects: resize
Ctrl-click and drag border of objects: change ellipticity (Mac users: Alt-click and drag)
Shift-click and drag border of objects: rotate

Adding/removing lenses: Right-click on the left-hand panel (astronomical image)
Adding/removing sources: Right-click on the right-hand panel (predicted image)
Adding/removing masks: Click on the "Mask" option below the astronomical image and right-click on the astronomical image.
Use the "predicted" and "residual" buttons below the predicted image to toggle between the predicted image and the residual (predicted image subtracted from the astronomical). Note that masked regions are shown in black.
Select the "Minimize ChiSq" button to set the brightness of the source(s) such that the residual is minimized. It is recommended that you disable this option until the predicted image is close to the astronomical image and enable it when refining your model.
You may upload a JPEG system of the system you wish to model. Clock the "Browse..." button (below the applet) to locate the image on your hard drive, then click "upload." Mowgli will update with your image.
